The grooming exercise is distinct from academic teaching. The idea is to facilitate learning and exposure. Sessions will be conducted to create a common framework for addressing the issues involved. While there may be exercises for self pacing, concept of individual exams is not necessary. Certificate will be awarded on completion of the grooming exercise.

The grooming phase focuses on helping you identify a value proposition, and germinate an enterprising idea.

The 30 (25 + 5) week grooming process will facilitate acquiring knowledge and skills required to identify an opportunity (through an in-depth understanding of the nuts and bolts of high-tech markets, emerging technologies and trends, and growth strategies, with a global perspective ), form effective teams, select a viable idea, and develop a business plan.



To bring all participants to a common datum level in terms of exposure to business concepts, NirmaLabs will organize a two-week bridge module on small business management. This module aims to bridge the gap between participants with business and management understanding and those without such a background. The other 14 modules will focus on basic technology, market domain knowledge, and business process knowledge. The entire grooming process prepares the individual to develop incubatable business plans.
